This copper ceiling lamp emits a soft, pleasing light, crafted from the highest quality materials. This pendant lamp is perfect for lovers of lamps made from a material with a delicate sheen.
Our collection of copper products reflects a desire to recreate a time when utilitarian objects accompanied people almost their entire lives, not just for a short while. By choosing such items, you invite them into your home for a long time.
Handcrafted lamps, washbasins, sinks, and bathtubs made of hammered copper are the quintessence of refined style, drawing on the centuries-old traditions of Mexican artisans. Today's creators of hammered copper accessories draw on the history of local pre-Columbian Indian craftsmanship in their work. During the golden age of hammered copper, the town of Santa Clara del Cobre, famous for its bowl production, supported itself almost entirely by copper crafts. However, the declining demand for everyday copper objects and hand-forged artistic decorations over the centuries meant that by the 20th century, the number of artisans, or rather artists, producing them using traditional methods had significantly diminished.
Thanks to the efforts of local artists who organized numerous exhibitions in the mid-20th century, hand-forged copper regained a large following, and objects made using traditional methods once again began to flow from the town of Santa Clara del Cobre. Thanks to their determination, copper bathtubs, sinks, and lamps now uniquely adorn interiors around the world.
