Encirco - Mexican ceramic salad bowl
A ceramic platter from Mexico, handmade by artisan artists. The colour has been applied by hand and the thick dye, applied quite thickly to the surface of the bowl, allows for a 3D-like effect. The ceramic bowl can be used for many dishes including salads and desserts. The platter is also suitable as a decoration in your kitchen, which no one will be able to pass by indifferently. Intense colours and unusual patterns will provide an excellent variety among classic, single-colour dishes.
The ceramic dish is durable, damage-resistant and robust. You can wash it safely in the dishwasher. Thanks to the handmade workmanship, the product is original and unique.
Talavera ceramics
The production method for this technique originates from the Spanish town of Talavera de la Reina and was brought to Mexico in the first half of the 16th century. Talavera ceramics are generally decorated with patterns that refer to floral symbolism. Flowers, buds, leaves and stems are strongly marked. In addition to blue, which was the dominant colour at the beginning, Talavera ceramics are now also decorated in shades of yellow, orange, red, green and black.
Talavera ceramics also include terracotta tiles and glazed tiles, which have recently become very fashionable and are eagerly used by interior designers.
