Monocolour tiles
The sets include 30 pieces of hand-made Mexican ceramic tiles each. Talavera-type tiles, sometimes also called Majolica, can be used as a single-coloured wall finish, or can be combined with Mexican patterned tiles.
Manual painting of the tiles and the characteristics of the technique itself mean that the individual colours on Talavera tiles are not homogeneous (for example, yellow will include shades from light yellow to orange), the edges are not always perfectly reproduced and each tile is unique.
