Tape serving dish 4 parts
A tapas platter consisting of 4 parts with a base that is 35 cm wide. The dish is made in Talavera style, decorated with a fancy pattern referring to the inflorescences and leaves. The artist craftsman colored the platter by hand with colors, the dominant ones being shades of yellow, orange, green and blue. The edge of the dish is marked with navy blue. The thickness of the applied dye and its dense consistency allow to obtain an effect similar to 3D. Traditional way of producing the dish and the care of a craftsman, makes the platter very durable and resistant to abrasion.
Three smaller dishes are placed in an oblong, rectangular platter, set one after another. The smaller bowls are used to serve sauce or salad or other tapas ingredients. Most often they are snacks in the form of mini sandwiches with bread or tortilla. They can also find simple snacks consisting of fish, seafood, cold cuts such as, for example, serrano, chorizo sausage, Catalan fuet, oreja and, of course, all kinds of hams, as well as many vegetables with royal peppers in the lead.
