Frida Sentada figurine
Frida Sentada figurine. Height 42 cm, base 15 cm. Frida Sentada figurine depicts a beautiful lady, a skeleton, sitting on a chair. On the shoulders of the figure sit two beautiful, colorful parrots. On the skull, the artist has put a beautiful multicolored garland referring to floral patterns. Catrina's dress is decorated with floral motifs and her neck is adorned with a beautiful necklace of braided flowers. Attention is drawn to the beautiful ornamentation of the chair referring
patterns to the other elements of the figure. The whole piece has been colored with warm pastel shades of blue, yellow, red and green.
Each of Frida Sentad's figurines has been made in a handicraft manner. The artist created all the details of the figure with his own hands from ceramic mass, then painted the figure and fired it. The handmade product makes it unique, as each of the figurines is different in terms of pattern, colors and shape. The figurines were painted in the final stage of production.
