Tapas platter 7 parts
Tapas platter consisting of 7 parts with a base of 32 cm in diameter and 4.5 cm in height. The dish is made in Talavera style, decorated with a fancy pattern referring to the inflorescences and leaves. The artist craftsman hand colored the platter with colors, the dominant ones being deep blue, yellow, orange and green. The edge of the dish is marked with navy blue. The thickness of the applied dye and its dense consistency allow to obtain an effect similar to 3D. Traditional way of producing the dish and the care of a craftsman, makes the platter very durable and resistant to abrasion.
Six smaller dishes are placed in the platter, one of them, with a round base, occupies a central place and can be used to serve a sauce or salad, and the others in a shape similar to a triangle are to serve other tapas ingredients. Most often these are snacks in the form of mini sandwiches with bread or tortilla. They can also find simple snacks consisting of fish, seafood, sausages such as, for example, serrano, chorizo sausage, Catalan fuet, oreja and, of course, all kinds of hams, as well as many vegetables with royal peppers in the lead.
