Glasses made in Mexico by Talaver method. The size of the glasses, i.e. 4.5 cm in diameter and 8 cm in height, makes them ideal for serving high percentage drinks such as Tequila, Mezcal, Sotol or other Aguardientes. The craftsmanship of the dishes makes the glasses may vary slightly in pattern, as well as there may be a slight irregular edge of the dish.
The glasses are decorated with a pattern referring to the symbolism of flowers so representative for the way Talaver is made. The colors of the glasses are shades of yellow, red, blue and green. The yellow edge of the glasses is decorated with a black line. The dense dye applied to the patterns makes the effect similar to 3D visible. Thick layer of enamel and subsequent firing makes the glasses durable and resistant to abrasion. In addition to their usefulness, the glasses are ideal as attractive decorations in Mexican style.

Talavera ceramics

The way Talavera is made refers to the methods used by Spanish craftsmen from the town of Talavera de la Reina. The production of Talavera is characterized by manual shaping of the shape of the product, then firing it and decorating it with patterns referring to flower symbolism. After the color is applied to the ceramics, a thick layer of enamel is applied and fired again. Talavera products are very popular due to their quality and original way of decorating.
