Chicharroner's Medium Bowl
Beautiful, handmade bowl with a sloping, wavy edge, colored brown. Bowl decorated with floral patterns, characteristic for Talaver style. The design was hand-applied by an artist craftsman, which makes the bowl unique. Inside the bowl is decorated with floral patterns in shades of blue, yellow, orange, green and brown. The way of applying dense dye allows to achieve an effect similar to 3D.
The bowl is ideal for sauces, salads, soups, as well as dry chips and nachos products. The bowl is a wonderful decorating element, perfectly presenting itself in/on the dresser in the kitchen or living room.
The service, which will consist of a bowl, mugs or cups, is an extremely attractive decoration giving the room an individual character and Mexican atmosphere.
Talavera ceramics
The method of production using this technique comes from the Spanish city of Talavera de la Reina and was brought to Mexico in the first half of the 16th century. The ceramics of Talavera are usually decorated with patterns referring to floral symbolism. The flowers, buds, leaves and stems are strongly marked. In addition to blue, which was the dominant color at the beginning, Talavera ceramics are nowadays also decorated with shades of yellow, orange, red, green and black.
Talavera ceramics are also terracotta tiles and glazed tiles very recently fashionable and willingly used by interior designers.
