Copper pot
Each pot is made of pure and high-quality copper - a raw material that surprises with its properties and has a long list of advantages. Like no other material, copper is able to reduce the number of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi (including molds) and viruses on its surface. Humans have known about the bactericidal effects of copper for a long time. Already the ancient Egyptians used its properties to disinfect drinking water and wounds. Copper, as a raw material used in the production of interior design elements, is an interesting alternative to synthetic materials, which are defamed for ecological reasons. Copper ensures incredible durability (over one hundred years of usable life!), And its natural origin makes copper products fully recyclable.
Hand-forged copper from Mexico
Handmade lamps, sinks, sinks and bathtubs made of wrought copper are the quintessence of sophisticated style, drawing on the centuries-old tradition of Mexican artisans. Today's makers of forged copper accessories refer in their works to the history of local Indian craftsmanship from pre-Columbian times. In the golden age of forged copper, the town of Santa Clara del Cobre, famous for its bowl-making, was made almost entirely of copper craftsmanship. However, the decreasing demand for everyday copper items and for hand-forged artistic decorations over the centuries meant that by the 20th century the number of craftsmen, or rather artists, who made them using traditional methods, significantly decreased.
Thanks to the efforts of local artists organizing numerous exhibitions in the middle of the last century, hand-forged copper gained a new group of fans, and items made using the traditional method began to flow out into the world again from the town of Santa Clara del Cobre. It is thanks to their determination that today copper bathtubs, washbasins and lamps decorate interiors all over the world in an original way.
